Acolytes and Crossbearers

Our middle school and high school youth participate in each service as either an acolyte (lighting the candles and assisting with the service) or as a crossbearer (processing with the Cross of Christ). Generally the youth will be scheduled for two or three worship services during the course of the year.  For more information, please contact Jennifer Cusmano at 313.886.2770. 

Lectors

Bringing the Word to life each Sunday, our Lectors read the Lessons and Psalm of the day. Eric Miller schedules this important aspect of the worship schedule. For more information, please contact him at eric.miller@stpaulgp.org.

Communion Assistants

With communion scheduled every Sunday, our communion assistants are busy! The assistants help set up, serve and cleanup the communion portion of the service. If you are interested in helping with communion, please contact Gerri Spezia at 313.882.6745.

Ushers

Their smiling faces greet us each week as we gather in the sanctuary for worship. From passing out the bulletin to collecting the offering, these men and women serve the Lord. Gary Spezia at 313.882.6745 schedules the ushers for the church.

Altar Guild

A "behind the scenes" job that must get done! From flowers to altar linens, the alter guild members are in charge of making sure that the church is ready to go each Sunday. Betty Roden coordinates the Altar Guild. Please contact her at 313.882.6027.

Greeters

Families of all sizes welcome members to the service each week. It's a great way to see old friends and meet new ones. Families are asked to serve about one Sunday year. Jennifer Callewaert at 313.884.1285 or evangelism@stpaulgp.org schedules our greeters.

Coffee Hour Hostess

After each Sunday service, we meet in the Fireside Room for coffee and treats. We're always thankful for the goodies our Coffee Hour Hostess provides for all of us. Kim Tripp coordinates these women and men. She can be contacted at 313.886.9469 if you would like to provide something yummy.
